Mélanie Inglessis for Olivia Wilde @ 'Cowboys & Aliens' LA Premiere 2011

Screen star, actress Olivia Wilde captivated her fans upon her arrival donning a floor length Dolce & Gabbana lace gown at the LA Premiere of  'Cowboys & Aliens' held at The San Diego Civic Theater this past Saturday. Make-Up Artist Mélanie Inglessis reveals how she gave Olivia a smoky eye for her red carpet  premiere.

"For Olivia's look at the premiere, we decided to go with a strong smoky eye to off set the romantic gown & the simplicity of  her hair. 
I used Chanel Le Crayon Khol Eye Pencil in Noir to outline & create the shape of the smoky eye, a khol pencil is perfect for this effect. Next, I applied a Revlon Luxurious Color Eye Shadow in Black Galaxy as a base on the lids & layered Chanel 's Illusion D'Ombre eye shadow powder in Mirifique on top of this, redefining the areas that needed to be darker(outer corners & inner corners of the eyes) to create a sexy smudgy effect on the eye. Finally, the trick to a beautiful smoky eye is blending, I used a clean blending brush and with one sweeping motion blended both upper & lower colors together, I finished her look by applying  2 coats of  Chanel mascara & a subtle Revlon Matte Lipstick in 'Nude Attitude'."
